Upper Primary

Programme for Kidults ( Upper Primary):

	Provides opportunities to Act out a Great Variety of Situations.
	Primarily Focuses on Developing Clear and Fluent Speech, Social Skills, Communication Skills and Confidence.
	Reinforces and emphasizes concepts including Phonetics, Vocabulary and advancing to Impromptu Conversations, Public Speaking, Conversations, Making Friends, Accepting New Challenges, Exploring New Directions, Innovative Ideas, Revisiting Basic Theater Techniques and moving onto Intermediate Theater Techniques, etc.
	And above all urges and motivates each child to be a part of the class activities without any ‘fear of failure’.

Our Lesson Plan is a judicious mix of segments dealing with:

	Familiarizing the child with Personal Grooming, Body Language, etc.
	Ice – Breaker Activities which spikes a child’s imagination and encourages un-structured speech.
	Co-ordinating speech, hand gestures, facial expression and body movement simultaneously.
	Reinforcing Vocabulary, pronunciation, diction, etc.
	Correct body-posture and the importance of Body Language.
	Enabling the creative juices to flow.
	Motivation and positive reinforcement which empowers the participants to respond confidently to any given situation.
	Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Theater Techniques and further extension to Script writing, Stage Backdrop, Stage performance, etc.

The Helen O’Grady Drama Programme encompasses a 17-year cycle. Each lesson has its own unique curriculum, specially crafted for that lesson, together with a specific lesson plan.

As a result of this extensive, original, programme it is possible for a child to attend our weekly classes for 17 years, and never repeat a lesson.

Above all our classes are fun wherein every child is given an opportunity to shine and trained to be a ‘star’ of his/her chosen field.
